I don't know about that
Wars are fought for a few reason and lust for violence really isn't one of them. The main reason is greed, probably the only reason too.

Humans are a violent people. It's in our nature. It keeps us safe. Being able to fend off an attacking animal and such. That animal might be man or a tiger. With out this nature we'd be extinct. Nature also relies on our own violent nautres to keep our population in check. We've been too good at not killing ourselves off the the population is booming.

One might say that video games are outlet for violent behavior that pre-exists in every human on this planet. People who deny thier violence side are the ones that scare me. They are afraid of themselves and don't look in those dark corners then one day they snap and go on a killing spree or commit a crime of passion.

Most kids playing violent video games leave rage in the game that they may have inflicted in on some kids in school. Not a bad thing if you ask me.
