PC games are far from over
Yes, I see a lot of new games for the consoles - but I've also got no shortage of new games for the PC. Crysis is coming out, and so is Half-Life 2: Episode 2. For those who love strategy, there's Sin of a Solar Empire and C&C3: Tiberium wars. In addition, nearly all MMORPGs are for the PC! I look forward to Guild Wars 2, and LOTR: Shadows of Angmar is almost ready for launch.

So, yes, the PC market is thriving, and I very much look forward to many new PC games in the upcoming years.

Just because one or two publishers are going to the consoles doesn't mean the PC is dead as a gaming platform. Not by a long shot. There's still plenty of publishers and plenty of games for the PC.

The PC is also remaining the cutting edge - DirectX 10 is out, CPUs are multi-core, and GPUs are massively so (the 8800 has 128 stream processors). The PC remains the best if you want cutting edge graphics.
