Savvy move for Dell
This is a brilliant move for Dell and will give them an advantage, at least for a time, against other PC makers that have been catching up to them of late, most notably HP.

Make no mistake, though, Vista will eventually be the standard, but adding this as a grace note is a smart business move for the fellas in Austin.

Now, if they could just stop offshoring their technical support...
