Dell vs. HP

I own both an HP and a Dell Laptop. I bought both in 2006. Hp is light years ahead of Dell as far as customer service. It seemed the HP people actually wanted to help (and help they did) and the Dell people just wanted to irritate me in broken English. I am sure 90% of the Dell reps were in India as they had an accent and little command of the spoken or written English language and seemed to bristle with contempt for the US and it's people, businesses and customs. I"m pretty sure some of the HP people were also Indian but they did a good job hiding it.
