Dell and HP
Dell needs to do few things to sell their computers. 1) Get the best quality device drivers which are tested and certified so that the consumer is not shafted 2) Sell the computers without crapware or trial software, spyware etc. Install a good quality firewall ( not trialware) 3) Charge the consumer $10 at the time of purchase and provide a clean install disk image so that the user does not have to call Microsoft authentication everytime we are forced to format the hard drive ( sometimes as often as three times a year). When most people buy a PC they look for absolute reliability even if it costs about $50 more (which is what is costs to change from an "also ran" to a "Winner-superior" PC). Dell must NOT forget that its consumer is the computer user. If the users have unpleasant experience when they try to start their programs, they will refuse to buy from Dell again. I still do NOT know why my Dell PC freezes all the time!
