No end in sight to hacking of 'WoW' accounts

Keep that computer secure: This isn't just a WoW problem - keyboard loggers can be used to steal the passwords of almost everything you use!

How to protect yourself:

a) Stick to the official website and only one or two well-known fansites. Do not go to any fansite you can find - better yet, don't go to any fansite at all.

b) Keep the firewall on, and the antivirus and spyware protection up to date.

c) Keep all of the software - especially the game itself and Windows - up to date.

d) If you have IE6 on your machine, upgrade to IE7. I don't care if you normally use Firefox, Opera or some other browser - IE is integrated into the OS and still leaves security holes if you don't keep it up to date.
