Thanks for the link - here is mine

Took a little work but I found the interview Jobs did with the Rolling Stone in December 03, 2003, after his deal with the Record Companies.

"When we first went to talk to these record companies -- you know, it was a while ago. It took us 18 months. And at first we said: None of this technology that you're talking about's gonna work. We have Ph.D.'s here, that know the stuff cold, and we don't believe it's possible to protect digital content."

I was not surprised with his open letter going against DRM; here is proof that it was not Jobs that wanted DRM but the big 5. Jobs always held the belief that DRM does not work, and now is taking the lead once again, while MS is making PR statements.
