Has it been 6 months since the last time notebooks were going to take over?
Until they are cheaper and easier to use in every respect, they'll never take over. Sure, some people need portability in their work, but many of those people (like myself) use a new invention called VPN, or another one called "Remote Desktop" so they don't have to haul a computer around. Particularly a delicate one.
