Whats the theft rate of Laptops vs Desktops?
I would imagine it's easier to steal a handfull of laptops (full of data) then it is a bunch of desktop systems.

I'd be curious to find out whats the theft rate of Laptops vs Desktops?

I do agree with the repair costs issue you brought up: I can replace a defective video card, monitor, HD in a desktop for considerably less then I could in a laptop.
