Plasma burn
Plasma's life expectancy may be long, but the screen will never last. Plasma suffers from bad screen burn-in. Just look a plasma at any sports bar or at the house of a sports fan. I've seen a few that have the YES Network logo permanently burned in the screen because it's always in the same spot on the screen. I think plasma is better than LCD for those who watch alot of movies, but sports fans (and maybe news network watchers) will be better off with something else.
