LOL!

If the customers aren't "looking" it's only because it isn't available. As soon as "cost per page" is printed on the box then you can bet an awful lot of people ARE going to look at it.

eg. Just the other day I must have spent $20 to print out an picture at average quality.

Between cartridge changes, half a dozen head cleanings, wasted paper and other messing about my brand new ink cartridges were down by about 25% (according to the ink meter). At 14 bucks each that comes to at least $20.

$20 to print *one* image - and everybody I know tells the exact same story.

Question: What exactly is the point of having separate cartridges if the head cleaning process sucks ink from all six of them when only one of them is causing trouble? Can't I select the color to clean...? Would it be so hard to program?

Oh, that's right... the manufacturers wouldn't make as much money if they did that!

This is way beyond "rip-off conspiracy" by the printer manufacturers.

If Kodak is promising 50% cost savings them I'm junking my Epson as soon as these cartridges are empty (should only take a couple more pages...)
