It's also about lack of options
I play WoW. I've leveled at 61 mage, a 50 druid, a 49 warlock, a 30 priest, a 29 rogue, and more. Each time I do the same damn quests in the same damn areas. It gets old and makes me not want to start new characters and try new things. At some point, I'll get sick of it all and leave for good.

What bothers me even more is that even though I have a 61 mage, if I want to create a second mage on another server, then I have to start at level 1. I've been through the leveling process before for this class and I'm not interested in doing it all again. For me, the only acceptable option at this point is to pay a leveling service. I certainly don't consider that cheating since I've already been through the whole process myself.

It's the lack of flexibility on the game makers' parts which cause users to do stuff like this.
