- Thought so...

But in this case what I had thought was more along the lines of how fast a camera can take a picture and how quickly it can take the next picture. I had only thought that with more mega-pixels comes more processing time required. Now I have another reason to 'go low'
My current camera(Nikon 4600) is only 4 Megs, and it has always taken awesome pictures provided I hold it still enough. I purchased it the day after buying a kodak digital, had to take that kodak back because of the horrendous delay after pressing the shutter. And it wasn't a defect, all of the kodaks in the under $300 range are like that! Maybe even all of them, I don't know. The 4600 was the only camera in my price range I could find that day in that store that would not delay after pressing the shutter!
Bottom line: I make my digital camera purchases based on performance, not horsepower!
And why do I keep thinking about breaking out my Minolta 110 zoom? - Posted by: Shadetree Engineer Posted on: 02/07/07 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
