Apple Hater Tells It Like It Is - Not
You say "They could have simply not even advertised the 802.11n as a benefit of their product"

Guess what Apple never advertised that the product came with 802.11n. They have now come out and said the product you bought works as advertised but if you would like additional functionality we can offer that to you at a nominal fee. So everyone who bought a Mac before the announcement they had no clue from Apple that it had an 802.11n card in their Mac. And if you don't want it now you don't have to buy it for the 2 bucks they are asking for. Why spread FUD because you hate large companies?
