So now you're claiming that the iPod functions exactly as every other mp3 player that was on the market at the time it was released? Same software? Same interface? Same control buttons/wheel? Same music store?

Funny, I see lots of differences. And given the success of the iPod, I would have to say that the buying public has decided that Apple's way was indeed better and preferable to the other choices available.

Don't give me any of this "marketing" nonsense. MS has been blanketing the media with ads about "the social". If it was that simple, they'd have overtaken Apple's lead by now, right?
