LG to sell first Blu-ray/HD DVD combo player

blue ray / hd dvd player

it's not the fact that the players only play their dvd's but all the people that i have talked to says that it shows a good picture but the price is too hight especially when someone has a good bit of standard dvds like myself. would i buy it, no because it's too high i can wait until the price goes down and there's not much hype about it anymore. i have a plasma with a that has 720p and 1080i which there really isn't a big difference between 1080i and 1080p not enough for me to put out over $1000 for a dvd player....
