Kill them both.
Both of these formats were designed to do one thing: Screw the Consumer.

Both of these offer marginally better pictures than DVD at much higher prices. Both saddle the consumer with Draconian DRM infections that remove your Fair Use Rights. Both of them were designed only with the Studios in mind and screw the consumer.

Well, screw you, Studios; and screw you Sony. I'm doing HDTV on DVD disks with Divx or Xvid compression.

I hope some small firm comes out with a high-capacity data drive with no built-in DRM that we can all jump on and make into the new standard.
