Hey..who NEEDS an entire MS VISTA OS on anything? We are getting steam-rolled again ..or just plain stupid. I have Linux on USB, I also have Symbian UIQ3 device that does absolutely everything that my Vaio NB does!! It even gives good phone! All on flash. For 2/3 days!! The only reason we use notebooks? is to get big screen real estate, is all. And Big Face! Once we dump all the junk we be chillin, man. Try DSL, Puppy Linux distros. Google's thrust has got to be to get inside MS's head. Who needs a GIG or SIX of OS?? An ISP, email, text tool, reader, fone, player..?? thats about it to run the average business ..in your pocket. Remember when mobiles were attached to your car, Ma Bell had a long leash on you? No more. Except for OS!! Use the NB to redesign anything, check out some decent nookie, but how often? Every week/month? What we really need MORE OF is SERVICES .. better WIFI WIMAX 3G GPRS etc... everywhere, for free. The coffee is already the price-of-admission. Like I said before - who needs $100/gal gas!! Later .. Jack Daniels
