That's what confuses me....
... is that for a pure memory based drive to get Windows up in 35 seconds instead of 55 seconds seems very slow to me.

No moving parts, no seek time - I would have expected the system start to be much, much quicker.

In terms of costs - the biggest bottleneck on PC performance is the physical movement within the hard drive. If that could be eliminated then I would expect system performance to improve really, really dramatically and people would be happy to pay $600 for a (say) 1000% performance improvement.
