Desktops less popular?
Consumers aren't fed up with Desktops, desktops just have gotten so cheap that you can buy then actually go out an buy a Laptop too for the same money you would have spend only 5 years ago.

So those Desktop buyers are now buying Laptops. Thier Desktop might only be a year old or less that that. I know this because I regualarly get asked, and asked a lot more lately, on how they can network thier new Laptop to the PC they bought 6 months ago.

I'm even think of getting a laptop. Saw one in the Flyers for $89 with strings attached as you need to sign for 3 years of DSL service and the ISP pays $400 towards that laptop. So really it's $489 but hey that's still a good deal. I'm thinking of switch to DSL now.
