I can't argue a lot of this cause I simply do not know.

You do know your music I'll give you that. So why hasn't RIO caught on? I mean is
making the iPod look good all it took? RIO had the lead, and YEARS (your words
not mine) for Apple to catch up and still.......Was it that Apple made the whole
thing work? iPod and iTunes?

Now for you other point below something about DRM and quality of AAC or
something. Isn't part of that one of the reasons Apple came up with the whole
thing concept and iTunes? Didn't the music industry put some limitations on
Apple and well all like MS? Are we blaming the wrong provider in this case for at
least some of this, and Apple's sucess would indicate vs RIO that their concept was
the better one.

Apple's iPod might (again don't have your knowledge) not have been as good as
the RIO product but was the like comparing the Space Shuttle to a good solid
Honda Civic? I mean I can drive a Civic but I'd be lost trying to do much but sit in
a Space Shuttle..:P Simplicity always a plus.
