That's something the frothing zealots here often fail to see. It's not a zero sum game. For someone to win, that doesn't mean someone else has to lose. Many can win at the same time.

Which tells you something, and it's that MS is indeed trying to win this market. Not for the player or song sale market, but for the bigger picture, to be the supplier of DRM to the media companies, and hence, the supplier of software to the masses for any device that plays any media. The iPod/Zune market is chump change compared to the bigger stakes here.
