Who says they want to beat them?

With Apple, when it comes to computers there isn't a snowball's chance in hell they'll ever beat Microsoft at this game, yet they continue to put out systems and software. Why?

So who says MS want's to beat them? It would be nice, and a goal like that keeps you on your toes. but hey, as long as they make money, they're happy...
