but which game?
The Zune may never beat the iPod. But that's not the market MS is after - it's the sale of songs.
If you want a better player, go with a company that sells players, not music, not software, but hardware players. They will put the most effort into their product, and they will include the best features because they know to stand above the crowd, their player has to be better. They aren't going to make up profits down the road with locked in music.
I suspect this is why companies such as Creative and iRiver are better than the iPod. But obviously that's my opinion.
