iTunes?

I gotta say, I just don't care about iTunes. If it loads my music on the player, it's done it's task. I certainly wouldn't use it to organize my music on my computer. Now if they build in a database of lyrics so that I can find common lyrical themes, that'd be interesting, but that has more do do with making mix CDs than what I want from a DAP.

Once I load the music on my DAP, it pretty much stays there. If itunes consisted of a plugin that let me drag all my music onto the iPod in explorer, it's served its purpose.

I suppose if you're willing to buy lossy audio files, the store is nice. I'm not...especially not when those files are essentially only useful if I use an iPod (and I seriously doubt that 10 years from now the iPod will be the only game in DAP land). As a result, it's only CD's for me. Rip em. FLAC em and then encode the Flac to whatever format my current DAP uses.

If storage is large enough, I may just use flac (but that's a long way off).
