Not sure if HP is justified, but Sony's products have improved...
Their DSC-H2 camera is quite a remarkable piece of kit. Numerous review sites applaud it as being near the top of the point'n'shoot breed, and whose images are near-DSLR quality.

Not to sound like Sony paid me to give 'em a free advertisement here, I know of their laptop and rootkit debacles...

As long as conscientious consumers are winners for spending their harder-earned money on quality equipment (not feature-laden garbage), that's all we care about.
