Annoying facts and realities
Hmmmmm where to start.
I have a long history of disliking apple. Not because the Mac is (overall) inferior to a PC, but because of Apple's history of leaving it's users behind, or at the very least abusing them. This is from personal experience and THAT you can not sway me from.

But that aside the mac interface is acceptable for the most part.

NOW... the annoying facts...

IF You are buying a Hundred Dollar laptop you are most likely looking for a tool, not a gaming box. If all you need is office, internet, etc, then this box will be fine.

Second, Saying "Oh look, I can boot camp" is a lame excuse. Boot camp simply means you admit defeat, and you're running windows to actually do something. THIS IS APPLE'S FAULT!!! Apple's alienation of software companies, and their consistently pathetic market share is what keeps most games (and software in general) from being developed for the Mac. -THIS IS NOT OPINION< THIS IS CORPORATE FACT!

Three... You CAN run MAC OS on this thing. All you have to do is load the cracked version of whatever Mac OS YOU ACTUALLY OWN and install it. I had this pointed out to me not too long ago. The cracking of MAC to PC was disturbingly easy. Once the security and copy, blah blah blah has been disabled on the OS CD simply load it, after all it IS BSD which has been compiled for a PC. (64-bit processors are required)

And lastly, Hell if it was me I'd wipe the hard drive and install Ubuntu. As long as I have the original recovery CDs I'm good.

Honestly I'm neutral in the great PC v Mac debate. I'm a network administrator, I support whatever makes the user happy. I am equally capable in mac, windows, and Linux desktops.

and one last word before the unreasonable flaming begins. Macs ARE over priced. The OS is ok, but the SW available is atrociously small. Yes major games, and some major SW programs are available for the Mac OS, but if you want to do any kind of heavy hitting, it's likely that piece of software isn't supported for the Mac. That mean loading emulators or playing with dual booting, virtual machines, etc.

Don't fool yourself, the moment you need to emulate windows, you lost. I admit this freely about Linux, and don't care as Linux is free.
Besides, I don't trust any OS that doesn't use at least 3 buttons on its mice natively happy
