2 things
1. So maybe there's one theoretical product that one day might be released that would do for the Zune what a whole army of products do for the iPod?

Hold on a second now. Isn't this the same defense used to counter the argument that there is just so much more software available for XP? The answer is always: why do I need 50 media players, 200 movie editing utilities, and 3,000 text editors when one suffices? I've never argued against that because it, like many of your arguments, is a pretty good argument. It is interesting that you are able to come up with great arguments for Apple but you seem to lose your ability to think clearly when talking about MS! That's okay, we all have a bit of zeal in us... except for me, I'm a NonZealot. Regardless, unless you are planning on having an army of integration units in your car, you only need one. Likewise with speakers, cases, and FM units. Oops, scratch the FM unit, Zune has that built in. With the iPod, you have to carry around a big, bulky unit. wink

2. The iPod I own is actually a little small for my tastes at 60 GB, and I'd love to move up to the 80 GB model.
Didn't you read the article?
So Zune 60 gig and an 80 gig in the works

Sounds like your dream come true: an 80GB Zune that can integrate with your car stereo. How many Zunes can I put you down for?
