Still benefit from larger screen
Yes, the screen is larger, but it's the same resolution as the screens on the iPods, so you're not really benefitting much.

As someone who watches video on a 3.5" PocketPC with 320x240 resolution, let me say that the benefit is huge. I've watched video on 2" iPod screens and you have to hold the thing right up to your face. Sure, the resolution is the same with my PocketPC and I guess if I stuffed it in my face, I could call the image "grainy". However, I dont want to stuff my video player in my face, I want to watch it from a comfortable distance. If we are forced to play by Apple's rules and we ask:
Which looks better when it is stuffed in my face?

Okay, iPod wins. A better question is:
Which can be viewed more comfortably?

The answer is: the one with the bigger screen, even if it has the same resolution. That would be the PocketPC, followed closely by the Zune. Now, when the fullscreen iPod is available, it will be better, even if it still sports a 320x240 resolution (though I somehow doubt it will).
