Asus claims they got Compal's orders. No word if this is true, if it happened before Compal's announcement or after. Could be Compal lost a big order to the scumbags at Asus and that is the real reason for their drop in sales and profits for this quarter.

IMO Asian business is pretty sleazy... We've seen many defective products from most of the Asian mobo companies in recent years despite ever increasing prices.
