NonZ...Glee at Parallels? Well I guess but not so much

for the reason you assumed. Yes I use Parallels and I am quite
happy at it's performace speed wise. I use to try and use Virtual
PC and found that dog slow and just this side of unusable. Now
however I am not glee filled at the thought of using say MS
Outlook I do find since it is my companies standard and they
have stopped developling it on the Mac side that I need to use it
but no not a fan of Outlook because all I want from email is to
send and recieve email. Outlooks to me (and this is my humble
opinion only) is a bloated big of a program that gives me soooo
much extra stuff I don't need or want. I do like simplicity to me
that is art.

Now what I am gleefull about is the greater flexibility that such a
system gives me. The ability to avoide the often used phrase
"Lock in" after all "IF" I ever choose to use Windows alone I still
can on the Macintosh. If I want to use Linux I can. If I want to
use OSX I can.

Finally of all the vendors out there Apple allows you to avoide
the dreaded "lock in"

Now I will grant you that Apple not allowing OSX to be used on
other platforms may be the primary cause of "lock in" but heck
that's just smart on Apple's part makeing her again Unique, and
perhaps even more important allowing OSX to remain artistically
pure and simple without all those driver issues that has often
plagued the PC market in the past.
