Yeah... I hated it.
And your beloved Microsoft doesn't? What about WGA? We know that fails...

I've used WGA to validate my copies of Windows probably close to a hundred times. "We" know that it fails? Speak for yourself. Microsoft has a right to protect their product, and fewer people have had WGA troubles than have had their computers shutting down.

And what makes you think that you can't use a Mac any more? To me a machine with Windows on it is a paperweight and not the other way around.

That's your perogative. Of course, I paid less for a more powerful machine...

If preferring to use a Mac makes me a 'cultist' then hell yeah I am a cultist and damned proud of it.

Personally, "Mac cultist" to me is someone who derides Windows on a habitual basis... and refuses to admit that, more often than not, PC's are quite a bit cheaper than Macs. If that's not you, then great.

Now how do you go about defending the actions of Microsoft?
