Here's another option
Since it takes a song approximately 180 seconds from being posted on a legit store to being posted without DRM on a p2p network, why not buy the song from where-ever it's offered, but then download the same song from a p2p network? That way the artist gets paid, the copyright is respected, and you get full usage of what you paid for. Perhaps it's borderline illegal (no real precedent set either way) but there's no way any jury would convict you or impose a fine on you for doing this.
