Here's another option: Since it takes a song approximately 180 seconds from being posted on a legit store to being posted without DRM on a p2p network, why not buy the song from where-ever it's offered, but then download the same song from a p2p network? That way the artist gets paid, the copyright is respected, and you get full usage of what you paid for.
