Decency laws have a habit of backfiring.

Humorous. Once, the same argument was used against "pornographic" books liks Ulysses. Banning the book only increased its popularity and makes it a staple for English junkies everywhere even though the book itself is a horrible chore to try and get through due to the lack of certain punctuation.

Every medium gets attacked by government officials. Why? Because its a mirage. It looks like they are doing something to lessen violence, when in reality, they are trying to place a band-aid over a festering wound with the hopes it will be ignored until they are old, gray, and retired.

Decency/morality laws are rarely effective ways to curb behavior.
