I had Playstation and the graphic were terrible for the most part. But that was not a function of the console, it was the game manufacturers. There were some awesome graphics in a few games on the Playstation. If I remember correctly NHL98 was some great graphics compared to the other consoles of the time. Then there was Final Fantasy 7 with just amazing graphics for it's time.
The problem with the Playstation was and still is a slew of low quality games. This also begining to happen to the X-box too. It also happens in PC games too but they generally don't charge much for those games. It seems that PS and XBox games all cost the same. Expensive for new releases and cheap for older.
