TiVo-Yada...Yada...Yada
TiVo lost me when you could only get 40 or 80 hour DVR's, DirecTV lost when they would not upgrade me to the newer satellite HD Receivers.

So I switched to EchoStar's Dish Network, most all of their equipment has Dual Tuners and built in DVR's with rich features, so why add another item to connect.

When TiVo had only 40/80 hour DVR's, Dish uses 100 to 200 hour DVR's. With the Dish 622 HD Receiver and the ability to record in HD up to 200 hours, plus free local channels (About 30+ HD channels), including those who broadcast in HD...Not to mention it looks fantastic on a 65" DLP HDTV.

With Dish, I have always been able to record two channels and watch another and you do not have to buy the receivers, plus the 622 has HDMI, and two USB ports, one of which I can connect an external 750GB Hard Drive to extend my recording time, or take it to my PC to download shows or movies, you can also buy one of three models of the Pocket Dish Player which allows you to take you recordings anywhere.

Why buy the cow, when you can get the Milk free?
