Well for me it's a different consideration....
I'm wondering now "IF" I get rid of cable TV all together and go
with something like iTunes. As it stands now iTunes carries a lot
of what I do watch and will probably cover everything soon
enough. I don't watch that much TV but I have to spend a lot
monthly to get the stations I do watch and that blanks me off. If
I could pick and choose I'd be purchasing like 5-10 stations
max. And my blankedy blank cable bill keeps going up and up
and up. So what I'm getting is commerical saturated junk most
of which I have no use for. Frankly most of my time spent in
front of my TV is using my XBox 360 and I don't need cable for
that.

Right now I have a Time-Warner all in one setup with a cable
modem for internet, digital phone and tv with two movie
channels. I'm thinking DSL might not be as fast but cheaper but
that one I might just keep cable. Some normal phone service
since I don't use long distance and caller ID while cool is not
needed cause I use my answering machine to screan my calls.
However the real rip-off is cable TV....YIKES and Arrrgggghhhhh!

So I like the fact that I have other options now and I'm seriously
considering it.
