When I was kid
We didn't have video games and TV only had 1 channel. There was no movie at home just at the theatre. So we just played out side from sun up to sun down. The parks were full of kids then not these abandon place you see now. Thing is you still had the same stuff back then. You had drug dealers, prostitutes, gangs, and child abductions. I don't see any difference today other than parent are more paranoid than they were back then. So now instead of sending you kid outside you pop them in front of the TV with a game, cable tv, or a movie. Not much has changed parental wise except kids are getting fatter.
