though the fight.

You really think creative should have this patnent that is so
blatentily obvious and common sense? Computers have used a
tree system forever, and of course if your using music your
going to select by the artist, ot the title, or the genre.... its a
stupid patent. but why should Apple spend tons of money
fighting it when they are busy with SEC filing and such, when
100 million is nothing?

If creative believed they are right, why would they settle out of
court with Apple for such a low amount of money, if they
thought they could win it in court and get more? and if you try
to say 100 million is a lot... you havent seen how much they are
making off the ipod.... 100 million is pocketchange just off what
they made last quarter, let alone compared to the total time
theyve been selling ipods.
