Cable companies lose round in CableCard battle

Does that mean that, in theory....: I can buy a Tivo box and plug the cable companies Cable Card into it, and get my tuning and DVR capabilitles from the Tivo?

If so, that's a godsend. These DVR boxes from the cable companies, particulary the bloody awful SA units, simply have to go. The features and useability is simply no where near what a Tivo is.; Posted by: BitTwiddler Posted on: 08/21/06 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
