Do all of those expensive "necessities"
keep you warm at night? Apparently you have a lot more inertia than common sense. Two HD sets? One insn't enough for cripe's sake?

If watching HD is your hobby, then I'll bet you fall into the demographic that plagues this country: mostly sedentary and overweight.

I am 47. I have one TV. It's a 27" Sharp CRT analog NTSC model that looks great to my 20/10 vision. I don't have a d@mn TV in my bedroom as that is not the place for watching video. My wife and I use that frequently for other interactivities and sleep.

I feel truly sorry that you would rather experience the world through a video monitor than get off your duff and walk outside. As for knowing what's going on, please tell me how wasting money on an alter to the cable Gods and hollyweird moguls gives you a better perspective?

BTW, in any country's socio-economic strata profile, you are certainly rich. If you have spent, I am guessing here, over $15,000 on video equipment (as a "hobby" not a necessity for your occupation or life), then that qualifies as rich. Some of the people in my neighborhood can't pay that for an automobile even with credit. But we all do live within a block of the ocean and a lot of our lifestyle centers there. Note, I could go out, raid my money market, and pay cash for the exact same set up you have. But that's such a waste of money on assets that will depreciate ever so fast that it would be really pretty stupid for me to do that. I would rather send the money to "Salute America's Heros" (which I do frequently) because I am aware of what's going on and seeing it in "Hi Def" doesn't do a d@mn thing about it.
