- I think Dell is certainly worthy of taking a good portion of the blame. Sony may have made the battery, but Dell probably submitted the technical designs to Sony in the first place. I work with LOTS of Dell Laptops and PCs in business and there have been so many problems, it's a wonder they're still in business. I want to like Dell, I really do, and I still would buy Dell products, but I ALWAYS get the extra warranty with Dell products because I know at some point I'll need it.
