The thought of someone else trying to be Kirk is abhorrent
I grew up watching the original Star Trek series. I can't even imagine someone else trying to voice Kirk.

Unfortunately when Shatner goes, Kirk will undoubtedly follow.

Mind you, maybe it is time for the trek to end as well?
