Yeah. I see the difference. Do you?
I just wanted to bring the AA group out. (Apple Apologists)

In all seriousness, who cares. It's Apples and Oranges (no pun intended)

You talk as though both companies have the same issues to deal with, when in truth, they don't.

I could say that Apple programers have absolutely NO reason to be late with anything as they know EXACTLY what hardware they are going to be dealing with, while on the other hand MS has to create an OS that will run on thousands of different combonations of hardware.

As for the "improvements", are they ones that people will use, need, or asked for or is it all just window dressing?

"Apple won?t promise features and then scrap it, leaving everyone scratching their heads wondering what?s their problem." I don't see many people scratching their heads wondering what?s their problem, it's what these features mean to business: WinFS and compatability, Encrypted folders, Wireless autoconnect and sensitive data, all in the hands of lazy users. No head scratching there.

No, I think MS got smart and realized that these features were not really that important in the end, just one more thing companies would have to deal with. If business want these features, they can add then themselves.
