What's really sick about this
Is that the V-Chip will block all TV Programs rated above the rating you tell it to rate.

If Parents would actually use their Remotes right and set the receiver to block the content this would be a non-issue.

I think the real issue is that they want;

1. To enforce the same standards that broadcast TV has on Cable and satellite. This means no more adult channels on Cable or Satellite.

2. To get Ala-Carte programing. I wouldn't be opposed to this as I would drop the 5 religious channels and 6 QVCs.
