And to be smarter ...
Now, they should really employ some high tech ...
Use WiFi to broadcast lecture and classroom and lab notes to tablets.
Allow tests to be conducted on the tablets, instead of using paper ...
Capture whiteboard diagrams and other instructional information ...
Use the tablets to research lab notes and campus libraries ...
Send Video to each tablet instead of having projectors and other media rooms ....
Use the tablets for virtual student conferences ...
In other words, if you are going to go high-tech then lets make it high-tech and really use what is already out there.
This would also allow students that are bed ridden or remote, to be able to participate in the class room as if they were present.
Now all we need are neat Avatars for teachers and students.
