Absurd Predictions
Ondrejka has also quite publicly proclaimed in his January new
years predictions on the Terra Nova, that "Second Life's peak
concurrency, currently at 5000, will reach 20,000"

Here the year is now half over, and yet one never sees more than
6000 users logged on concurrently. Once the business week
article fervor has died down, the peak concurrency will go back
to hovering around 4000 I suspect.

I don't see much future potential in SL's technology, and I would
never consider investing in them if they were public. They are
however, truly pioneering a lot of otherwise untried
technologies.
