but thats completely not true
one CRTs "better quality" is in some areas. The fact I can watch a LCD TV for many hours, and get a headache with a CRT after 30 minutes, makes a LCD "better quality" to me.

and CRTs are NOT cheaper. when they say cheaper, they are only looking at the upfront costs. the TCO of a CRT costs a lot more because it uses a huge amount of power compared to LCDs. You will pay more for your CRT in the long run, and i dont just mean a little more, it only takes about a year of normal use for the CRT to match up in price.
