Do not use Dell Connect
Windows was hanging up on shutdown on my brand new Dell XPS410 so I called Dell support. Bad move. The technician in New Delhi took control of my computer with Dell Connect eliminated scores of files and pronounced the problem solved. He also cleared out the system tray. Anything I put back would be cleared out at shutdown. I have yet to find a competent technician at Dell.
