diagnostics, perform routine maintenance, and even send out replacement parts (that were showing distinctive signs of imminent failure)? I doubt it, but I just don't know what they might be packing into their newest machines. It'll be interesting to see how it goes for them, if they can deliver on this; or if it's just another puff of smoke.
It'd sure put a hurt to a lot of service shops that have been taking advantage of consumers. Doing things like installing usb cards in user desktops brought in to the tune of a hundred bucks a pop. I can't count the number of times I'd be visiting an area shop when someone would come in lugging a tower and be told something like that. Kind of like how best buy "techies" (slobs don't even KNOW what a molex connector is they send everything back to factory whether it's warranted or not) and STILL charge 30 bucks a pop to install a hard drive. - Posted by: yogeee Posted on: 07/11/06 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
